What's new
Recently added
All of it is in the game now, and in the playtest when it opens.
Bringing characters to life
Characters breathe while they stand, run out of breath after a flurry of blows, and dance and wave with a head, an arm and a body that each move on their own.
See them move
Daily rewards
Open your journal and claim a box a day from whatever run of rewards is on. Every box shows what is in it first, and missing a day costs you nothing: the next one waits.
How daily rewards work
Portals that open on their own
Now and then a teal portal opens beside somebody, and anybody close enough has a minute to step through: clear a rift, meet a stranger or crack open a forgotten cache. Everybody who finishes it is paid in full, with a Charge Dice among it.
How portals work
Charge Dice, and weapons that glow
Roll Charge Dice to push a weapon or armour to +10, with a bigger risk of breaking it the higher you go. From +4 your weapon glows for everybody to see, and elemental dice wreathe it in their own effect: flames licking up the blade, water running off it, sparks, grit, a small whirlwind, rising light or smoke.
Upgrading your gear
Five tiers of the same sword
Any piece of equipment can turn up anywhere from T5, the ordinary one, to T1, the best. The deeper dungeons drop better than the shops sell.
Equipment tiers
Three shops in Aeven
Alden sells food and potions, Corran a weapon for every trade, and Berrow the clothes and shields to go with them. Everything is priced in gold, and nothing runs out.
What the shops sell
A bank with five drawers
Bank Daddy keeps the Aeven Bank. Your first drawer is free, four more can be bought, and what you leave with him stays put whatever happens to your bag.
The bank
Trading, face to face
Stand next to somebody and open a trade: items and coin on the table, and both of you confirm. Change anything and both confirmations clear, so nobody can swap the goods at the last second.
Playing with other people
Post from the mailman
Mailman Mark takes letters with items and gold attached, and they wait for your friend until they next sign in. Anything left unclaimed comes back to you rather than vanishing.

Chests worth finding
Chests tucked around the world fill up again after a while, some only appear once the room is clear, and one opened in a party gives every member the whole contents.

Three doors into the ground
The Flooded Cellar, the Sunken Warren and the Ancient Crypt, from level 5 to level 25. Take a party in and the floor is yours, and the deeper two can drop Charge Dice and weapons of a better tier.

Seven classes and nineteen skills
Rogue, warrior, ranger, cleric, mage and knight, each with skills of its own, and whatever is in your hands decides which one you are.
Meet the classes
Guilds, with a crest and a rank ladder
Sevrin the guildmaster is standing on Aeven's main street. Found a guild there, name it, choose its crest, and hand out ranks to the people you bring in. Everybody in it has a channel to talk on, wherever in the world they happen to be.
Parties and guilds
Fame, and somewhere to show it
Once a day, give another player a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Total level, every class, fame and gold each get a leaderboard, and last month gets one of its own.
Leaderboards
Somebody in town finally wants something
Rennick has crows in his woodstack. Ask a guard about it, deal with them and walk back for your pay. Quests track a step at a time in the corner, and a line of markers points the way if you would rather not hunt for it.
Quests and dungeons
The lake stopped being a wall
Water in the original stopped you dead. Now you can wade in and swim across it, head above the surface, at a slower pace than the path you left. You cannot swing a sword out there, which seems fair.
Explore the world
Weather you can stand in
Rain, wind you can see in the grass, and storms with the thunder arriving after the flash. It is decided per town, so one place gets soaked while the next one along stays dry.
The world
Aeven, drawn again from scratch
The town everybody starts in was rebuilt by hand rather than imported: the crossroads, the church, the shops, the lake and the roads out of all of it. Every door still leads where it used to.
The world
Played with a thumb
A stick, an attack button and panels laid out for a phone held sideways. Same game, same world, same characters, nothing cut out of it. Add it to your home screen and it opens without the browser around it.
Common questions
Being worked on
Not in the game yet. Listed here so you know it is coming rather than missing.
Player rooms and furniture
A room of your own to come back to, and furniture to fill it with, set out however you like.
Skills for the commoner
Fishing and woodcutting, for hands that are not holding a weapon, so the commoner gets a trade of their own.
Selling what you find
Shops only sell for now. Taking your loot back to the counter for gold is the next piece of the economy to land.
More for people to ask of you
Fetching, delivering and getting somewhere are all on the way, so quests can be about more than what you killed.
